I’m Alisa, an aspiring author and long-time reader. I love all things fantasy and fiction and am working on my very first enemies-to-lovers trilogy. While I’m on this quest, I’ve also decided to beta read for others. Because I’ve had people beta read for me, I have the inside knowledge on the kind of feedback a writer wants and needs to make their characters swoon-worthy and their plot gripping.
When I’m not writing and reading, you can find me embroidering a dress or blouse, drawing fictional maps and fairies, watching writing craft videos, and plotting my escape to Spain. After a two month long trip to Europe in 2023, I fell in love with Spain and Portugal and have decided that I want to live the Expat life there.
I’m also a big fan of the outdoors! I’ve worked in four national parks over the years and have even been part of a conservation crew in North Carolina, building trails and preserving historic sites. I cherish every summer I’ve spent swimming, making new friends, hiking, and kayaking.
